My name is Gabriela Mayumi Isa, I’m a Montréal-based aspiring UX/UI designer with a comprehensive educational background.
I hold a UX Design Certificate from Concordia University, I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art History from Concordia and a DEC in Communication, Media, and Studio Arts from Vanier College. My design odyssey began during my CEGEP years, where my final project earned a coveted spot in the graduation gallery show. Throughout my university journey, I delved into the world of UI/UX design with online courses on Udemy while pursuing my BFA.
My diverse background equips me with a versatile skill set ideal for the UI/UX realm. Proficient in research methods, critical thinking, attention to detail and collaboration, I approach design with a user-centric focus along with an aesthetic lens. My aim is to craft elegant and intuitive designs that resonate with users by prioritizing their needs and perspectives.
During my free time, I indulge in various hobbies such as crocheting, baking, building gundams and playing video games. I love engaging in activities like hiking, playing badminton, and climbing, often shared with friends. Exploring my roots, I love travelling to my parent’s home countries capturing its breathtaking landscapes through my lens.
